Pirates Of The Carribean 3

Fricking plot holes.. (of Star Wars like proportions - “Hey! Lets keep the heart which controls the most important ship in our fleet, crewed by guys we don't trust at all.. ON the most important ship in the fleet! And lets post guards who aren't even going to guard it properly..” Ugh, that whole walk in and grab it scene was incredibly sloppy) The whole thing gave off an air of them making it up as they go along. >.<

But, yeah I liked it, it was just hugely dissapointing.. Not as bad as Spiderman 3 though. >:D

I liked the crabs and all the surreal stuff, I didnt think it was terrible but it wasn't up to the standard set by the other two, and after all the hype it should've surpassed it..

Also, wtf was the point of hyping up this epic sea battle which no other film team will ever get a chance to have a stab at.. Involving like, every important pirate ever.. Then have the battle just outright not happen. WTF. They just all go home. Unimpressed. That could have been amazing.

Also, the whole two ships propped against each other in the middle of giant whirlpool.. wtf. Admittedly it *looked* cool, but the original POTC followed internal logic, had a historical-ish setting. As the series goes on it seems to be abandoning all that in favour of “ZOMG COOL SETPIECE… Woo Cthulhu-ish piratey things!!” It would've made a better anime.

And damnit if you have something as cool as the Kraken you probably shouldn't kill it between movies.
